4th day- Up to the summit and all the way down

We ascended the rest of the mountain at 2am in the morning, which I felt was a blessing to climb in darkness. I wouldn't have dared if I could see how a step missed couldn't have led to the end of my existence in this world haha. However, every effort was worth it. The view from up there was superbly magnificient. If only I could stay there longer just to enjoy HIS greatness.
But too bad we had to make our descend. A very tiring day indeed but no regrets. Although we got stuck in the rain and ended the journey down in darkness, it was definitely an experience not to be missed.
Thank you Aisha and Jumi for granting me this wish to embark on this journey which could have remained just a dream.

3rd day- Ascending Mount Kinabalu
|
|
|
A 4 hours ascend up Kinabalu.... wah the stairsmaster was a challenge! But alhamdulillah we managed to reach safely. It was cold and raining. Sadly Gunting Lagadan Hut isn't heated, but we made do with thicker clothings. One consolation, we can cook out hot maggi mee in the kitchen!!!

2nd day in Sabah
|
|
|
A relaxing day with nothing much in the itinery. Stayed over at Rose Cabin in the mountainous area, cold temperature. Nice view of Mount Kinabalu from the balcony. We spent the day keeping ourselves warm and recharging for tomorrow's climb.

5 days in Sabah- 1st day
|
|
Driven by dad to Senai airport at 5am to catch our budget airplane to Sabah. Accompanied by two other girlfriends, Aisha and Jumi, we checked into Shangri-la on the first day. We then headed out to Sabah Museum and then to the Handicraft Market (@ Filipino Market).
A great prelude to the adventure ahead.

Big Walk 2006
|

|
I shan't be too ambitious and start running 10km.... let's do the walking first. Woke up very early in the morning to join the massive crowd of Singaporean in the Big Walk. That certainly won't be the last time. Had great fun thanks to the company; Aisha, Fiza, Joyce, Anisa and Kak Mus.

A break at East Coast with fellow NIE mates (and company)

|
Woke up early in the morning to be at East Coast to cycle and have lunch with fellow NIE mates. A mini gathering after the hectic practicum.
Only Yati and I came as early as 10 to cycle to the extreme ends and later joined by 3 others (Musa, Rugayah and Nadia) with their family members for lunch.
Got to play with toddlers Amir and Zafira! They are so adorable!!!
Another good day with great company.

Engagement of the Fair Lady

It's the engagement of my primary school friend, Nur Syahidah bte Difari at the LTA Clubhouse. A grand affair for the fair lady, attended by many... including the few of us from her primary school.

It's Been A Long Time!

Havent met up with Jieja and Nurul for a really long time. And I'm so happy that our plan came true! Had dinnder with them and Ain at Causeway Point's Siam kitchen followed by dessert at Gelare. Thanks Jieja for the treat! Kenyang perut aku. And Nurul, I hope to see you again soon!
Ain, I'll bump around in your office again when I'm done with my practicum ok!
